GALLATIN, Tenn., Oct. 20 (UPI) — Tennessee police said they arrested two theft suspects after one of them left behind a pair of old jeans containing his identification.

Investigators in Gallatin said Dustin Matthew Marshall, 20, left his old jeans in a Wal-Mart dressing room when he allegedly stole a pair of pants Oct. 14 and the jeans contained his wallet and his driver’s license, WTVF-TV, Nashville, reported Wednesday.

Police said Marshall and Lindsey Samantha Scholl, 19, then allegedly skipped out on a restaurant bill Saturday and left behind evidence linking them to a string of burglaries from cars.
